The Success Story of Iqra Sharif
Miss Iqra Sharif belongs to Chanchal Singh Wala Faisalabad. She was very interested in beauty parlour training but her parents were very conservative. They did not like and allow their females to go outside the house and get any kind of training.
One day a seminar was organized by Women Shelter Organization and supported by Hope Organization at to Chanchal Singh Wala regarding how to get training of beauty parlour.
Iqra and her friends participated in this seminar at women shelter school Chanchal Singh wala Faisalabad.
After the seminar, Iqra talked to her friends to join the parlour which is running by Women Shelter organization Faisalabad. Iqra friends went to her house and talked to her parents. At first the parents were hesitating and denying but they did not know about the new laws being made in Pakistan that Education is a basic right and education is very important, especially for girls.
After motivating by her friends Iqra’s family agreed and permitted Iqra to get beauty parlour skill. Iqra has completed six months training of Beauty parlour and got Diploma. Now she is running a successful beauty parlour in her home and increasing her household income.
